Kate Middleton's every move — sartorial and literal — is watched by EVERYONE. She's been everyone's favourite topic of conversation since her engagement to Prince William sparked the nation's love for her. Since then we've had one conversation-starter after another; her Sarah Burton-designed wedding dress, her sister Pippa (and her derriere), Prince George and the adorable new addition to the clan, Princess Charlotte. (See Kate and William's best couple moments.)
We look back at her wardrobe choices over the years and how she has transformed from a university graduate into the Duchess of Cambridge; swapping her blazers, shirts and knee-high boots for tailored dresses, nude tights and heeled courts.
Her penchant for mixing designer brands, such as Alexander McQueen, Jenny Packham and Emilia Wickstead, with high street stores, like Whistles and Topshop, is what keeps the fashion pack quite so interested in her every wardrobe decision. That, and her love of glorious gowns.
Since giving birth to Charlotte, her style seems to be getting a bit cooler and more confident. As well as the safe dresses for her royal engagements, she's been branching out in statement floral Erdem (like that one Sophie Hunter wore to the Golden Globes) and has even gone braless in fashion fabulous blue chiffon - starting what we've called The Great British Power Dress Off.
