Glastonbury is pretty much the most iconic UK festival and though there's more to the weekend than fashion, we love looking at the best of the A-list outfits.
Alexa Chung, fashion’s finest and regular on the festival circuit, has spoken out about her aversion to ‘festival fashion’. We’ve been over the whole denim cut-off and vest thing for a while but Alexa took it one step further saying to Fashionista: “It’s slightly embarrassing … because, first and foremost, you just have to be comfortable and weather-appropriate. So I think it’s a bit naff, some of the iterations on that theme, and how it has become its own style.” We wholeheartedly agree.
Instead of being one of the flower crown crowd, check out the latest festival looks for outfit ideas.
With Glastonbury 2015 underway, we’re excited to check out what the A-list has in their sartorial store. Daisy Lowe’s style is made for festivals so we weren’t surprised by a laidback maxi dress and biker boot combo, but Poppy Delevingne’s leather trousers really got us talking.
Last year, the fash pack was out in full force; from Stella McCartney to Sienna Miller. Steering clear of the festival uniform of old, 2014 was about staying chic in the rain, with Alexa donning jeans and a blazer then a silk, while others - including Sienna, unexpectedly - favoured the rave-ready EKAT catsuits.
Who knows what this weekend will be like. Fingers crossed for sun, but as always prep for every weather. We wrote up a packing list which included Dr Martens, a mac and a peasant blouse.
