But you can’t always be the bride, and these celebrities know exactly what it’s like to take on bridesmaid duties for their nearest and dearest, too. Matching pastel dresses? Check. Floral bouquets? On that. Behind-the-scenes snaps with the bride? Absolutely, See – famous people are just like us!
It looks like celebrities are throwing away the wedding rule book when it comes to the dress code, too - while some stars like Emma Roberts, Lena Dunham and even Rihanna stuck to more traditional colours for their friends’ big days, others are dressing head to toe in icy white, just like the bride.

The entire Knowles family wore white alongside the bride for Solange’s wedding, and again for mum Tina’s marriage to Richard Lawson. Cara Delevingne also wore white as one of 17 bridesmaids for sister Poppy’s mega wedding, and then there’s Pippa Middleton and that Alexander McQueen bridesmaid dress…
Kim Kardashian-West had all her sisters in white for the celebrity marriage of the century, including baby North, but that obviously wasn’t the first time the sisters were bridesmaids. The sisters wore white again for Kim’s previous marriage to Kris Humphries, but purple for Khloe’s wedding to Lamar.
