The Oscars are always the biggest night of awards season - from the Golden Globes in early January, it's what they're all leading up to… Who will win the gold men statuettes?
The other ceremonies, as well as being amazing in their own right, serve to predict who will get those Oscars. For 2016, it's looking likely Brie Larson and Leonardo DiCaprio will get those Best Actress and Actor gongs.
It's not all about the celebration of film though, the Oscar red carpet is MASSIVE for dress watch - it's pretty much the most important event in the industry year so it figures everyone would want to look their best.
Especially when we'll remember them nearly as much as the award winners, and some are just synonymous - Halle Berry's sheer Elie Saab dress when she picked up her Monster's Ball win, Gwyneth Paltrow's puffy pink Ralph Lauren dress when she won for Shakespeare In Love, Lupita Nyong'o's (temporarily stolen) $150k Calvin Klein pearl dress… The list is endless.
Though the 90s dresses are obviously excellent, they go WAY back - to 1929 and, as you can imagine, there have been some pretty fabulous ones along the way. Audrey Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Julie Christie… See all the Best Actress Oscar dresses, and all of the not-so-lucky nominees here…
