Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt FINALLY cemented their Brangelina status after they tied the knot in a secret wedding in France and, while Brad has been out in force flaunting his wedding ring for all to see, lets face it, we've all been waiting with bated breath to catch a glimpse at Ange's wedding dress.
Now, that wait is over.
Covering both the front pages of People and Hello magazines respectively, at long last we're able to see Angelina in all of her bridal glory. And, we have to admit, her choice of frock is not what we expected...
The 39-year-old actress's style is ordinarily sleek and quite often she can be seen gracing the red-carpet in column cut gowns. However, for her big day, Angelina opted for a white satin gown complete with a ruche bust, thin straps and a full skirt with a rounded-edge train.
The dress was created especially for the star by Donatella Versace baring the name of the Atelier Versace brand. However, it looks like Donatella had a little help in giving the dress its quirky final touches...
Look closely and you'll make out tiny drawings of flowers, animals and people across the veil and the wedding dress itself. Hand-drawn by Angelina and Brad's six children - Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, Vivienne, 6 and Knox, 6 - the illustrations really give Ange's bridal look an unexpected and very touching twist.
As for the groom, it has been revealed that 50-year-old Brad wore a suit from is already bulging designer wardrobe, although it has also been said that he had to borrow a tie from one of their sons after forgetting to pack one. Oh Brad, what are you like...
Angelina, who was remarkably close to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, wore a small gold locket which belonged to her in which she inserted a photograph of her mother as her 'something old'. Pass us the tissues will you.
Her hair was styled into a sleek up-do while she stuck to her classic beauty look of soft, porcelain skin and a smudged kohl eye. Beautiful doesn't cut it.
We don't know about you, but we still couldn't be more thrilled for these two. Congratulations again, Mr and Mrs Pitt!
