It seems the Christmas season is finally upon us after last night's A Christmas Carol premiere in Leicester Square, and the official turning on of the Oxford Street lights - and the celebs were out aplenty.
A host of stars including all of The X Factor finalists arrived on the red carpet together for the new 3D Disney film, A Christmas Carol, starring Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Bob Hoskins.
Stacey Solomon and Lucie Jones (the only two girls left in the competition) shone in glitzy dresses while the remaining boys, Danyl Johnson, Lloyd Daniels, Jamie Archer, Olly Murs, Joe McElderry and twins John and Edward donned some seriously sharp suits for their appearance on the red carpet.
They arrived in Leicester Square, which had been transformed into a winter wonderland complete with Christmas trees and performers adorned in Victorian dress.
Also at the premiere were the main stars, Jim Carrey and Colin Firth, with their partners, who had earlier switched on the Oxford Street and Regent Street lights respectively.
The Saturdays, Peter Andre and Little Boots were also part of the ‘switching on' entertainment before hitting the red carpet.
A Christmas Carol was premiered in three cinemas in Leicester Square as well as ten others around the country. Organisers wanted to set a world record for the largest premiere of a 3D film.
A Christmas Carol comes out on general release on Friday, 6 November.
