Madonna, director of upcoming Wallis Simpson biopic WE, hit the red carpet in London last night for the film’s London Film Festival premiere. The singer was joined by the film’s stars, British actress Andrea Riseborough and James D’Arcy, alongside co-star Laurence Fox.
Madonna wore a black L’Wren Scott dress embellished with purple floral embroidery and a diamond necklace spelling out the title of the film. She accessorised with black high heels and a bag by Gucci, and jewellery by Van Cleef & Arpels and Neil Lane.
Andrea Riseborough looked radiant in a multi-layered black, cream and grey chiffon gown with a strapless bodice and button detailing, her newly redhead locks in a wavy updo, accessorised with pink lipstick and a slick of metallic bronze eyeliner.
Fashion’s elite were in attendance, with designers Valentino and Giorgio Armani attending the premiere to support Madonna, who has taken the movie to film festivals around the world including Venice and Toronto.
