Having lived on the remote island of Anglesey since before they were married in April 2011, renovation plans for Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk could suggest a house move is in store for Kate Middleton and Prince William.

While the royal couple has clearly enjoyed the privacy that island life has granted them, the 10-bedroom Anmer Hall, complete with Regency features, out houses and the Queen’s 20,000 acre estate surrounding them, should make them feel at home.
And with a swimming pool and a tennis court within the house grounds, the Duchess of Cambridge will be able to enjoy her sporty hobbies at home, too.
The speculation comes amid news that the Queen has applied for planning permission for the property, the details of which have been disclosed due to matters of national security.
