If, like us, you’ve never quite filled the void left by the ending of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul is going to provide some welcome relief to your life. Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould - the crack writing team behind the multi-award-winning series Breaking Bad – this new series is set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) meets teacher turned meth maker Walter White. And when we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is suspiciously known as Jimmy McGill....

Set in 2002, the series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer." Private investigator slash hitman Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) will reprise his role and become a series regular although, sadly, none of the other Breaking Bad cast will appear. Still, it’s set in Alburquerque in New Mexico – the same setting for Breaking Bad – meaning you can expect a similar mood. Meanwhile, Bryan ‘Walt’ Cranston is also slated to direct.
