Jennifer Lawrence will present an award at the 2014 Golden Globes
Jennifer Lawrence just became our new favourite thing about the Golden Globe Awards, and her Best Supporting Actress nomination isn't the reason.
The Oscar-winning actress has been guaranteed her time in the spotlight at this year's ceremony, as she's lined up to present an award.
Joining a host of impressive Hollywood talent to present gongs at the 71st Annual Golden Globes., the American Hustle starlet has been announced alongside Robert Downey Jr, Colin Farrell, Mila Kunis, Uma Thurman, Kevin Bacon and Reese Witherspoon.
Talking about her return to the red carpet, Jennifer told Now magazine: 'I make a fool of myself easier than anyone I know. I get so nervous before going down red carpets - particularly after that fall at the Oscars.
'I've tripped at least a couple of other times, too. I managed to forget to thank both the director and producer when I went on stage, so I wondered what was worse?'
‘My mom taught me to laugh at myself. What else can I do?' The Hunger Games actress also told The Sun. ‘She is there to catch me, in every way. Nothing is ever said like: 'Make sure you put one foot in front of the other.'
‘I can be quite rude and use some bad language. I am trying to clean up my act. But my mom always taught me that being natural was best.'
The 2014 Golden Globes will take place on Sunday, 12 January.
We're wishing Jennifer all the best for a fall-free event, but we're sure she'll pull it off whatever happens.
