Cate Blanchett hardly ever (read never) puts a designer-clad foot wrong on the red carpet, but rarely do we see her dressed down, going about her daily business.
But in New York this weekend, the Oscar-winner showed that her flawless style stretches further than just movie premieres and awards ceremonies, as she hit rehearsals for her new play The Maids in a series of sophisticated outfits.
Proving that it isn't just Alexa Chung who can give good floral dress, Ms Blanchett stepped out in a multicoloured flower-print shirt dress which she teamed with a pair of leather ankle boots.
A white sleeveless shirt and semi-sheer black skirt showed off her chic side, while a lilac and tan colour-block frock with flats added some colour into the mix.
It looks like we've found another celeb whose casual style we'll be stealing…
