Adele is set for an extra special Christmas this year, as it's announced that she will be awarded with a MBE tomorrow for her services to the music industry.
The Someone Like You singer will be known as Miss Adele Adkins MBE after she makes the trip to Buckingham Palace to collect her honour as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
The mother-of-one will receive the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for the success of her second album 21, which earned her a healthy seven Grammys and is so far the best-selling record of the 21st Century.
If that wasn't enough, Adele, who, by the way is still only 25-years-old, is the only female artist to ever have had three singles in the top 10 at the same time in Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Oh, and then there was the Oscar she received for her James Bond theme tune, Skyfall. No biggie.
Despite her many amazing achievements, Adele has opted for a life out of the spotlight in the last couple of years, preferring to spend time with her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, and their one-year-old son, Angelo.
If rumours are to be believed, Adele has also been bust working on her third album.
Maybe Adele will pull a Beyonce and drop a surprise album. We can only hope...
