Elle Fanning is quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most successful young actresses. At the London premiere of her new film Ginger & Rosa, Elle explains how she prepared for her part as Ginger.
In the film, Elle and her co-star Alice Englert are best friends living in London in the '60s. On her friendship with Alice, Elle told InStyle: “We had a three-week period of rehearsals to really bond with each other [before we started filming]. We were meant to be best friends in the movie and so we did become really good friends!”
The starlet looked beautiful in a floral Rochas couture creation as she shared how she prepared for her audition and role in the film: “I had an acting coach for my audition, which was with an English accent, in front of Sally [Potter, the film’s director] who is from London. I didn't want to mess up!”
Critics have praised Elle’s performance in the movie and are even talking about a possible Oscar nomination. Her hard work has clearly paid off!
The UK release date for Ginger & Rosa is November 19.
