Blake Lively may recently added the accolade of being the world's hottest new-mum to her CV, but a title she has long held is as the owner of the most beautiful hair in the biz.
Yep, we're talking about her glossy, beachy, blonde waves that single-handedly take the term bombshell to a whole new level. And, while we've pined over them for years, we had just about come to terms with the fact that we'd never quite achieve the grandeur of her golden mane; well, not without the help of a ten-strong team of session stylists, anyway...
However, the first step to getting Blake's hair may be closer than you think. And by closer, we mean in proximity.
Talking to US beauty site Byrdie, the 28-year-old actress, doting mother to her daughter, James, and one-half of the best looking couple in Hollywood (as if we needed to tell you her hubby is the handsome Ryan Reynolds) revealed that the secret behind her luscious locks can be found in pretty well every household fridge. HUZZAH!
Talking about her, ahem, unusual nourishing trick, Blake said: 'My mom taught me this really great beauty tip. She used to put oil or mayonnaise on the bottom half of her hair before she would shower. That way, when she would shampoo, the soap wouldn't strip the bottom of the hair and dry it out, making it brittle.'
Ok, so we're hardly thinking 'Mayonnaise — why didn't I think of that?!' right now but with a head full of hair that beaut, who are we to dispute the Gossip Girl starlet?
You've got to hand it to Blake; she's definitely peaked our curiosity. We haven't tried it for ourselves just yet but the one thing we can give you the heads up on? Rinse. Thoroughly.
Now Blake, was that Hellman's or ASDA's own mayo you said you used on those tresses?
