Lady GaGa won EIGHT MTV Video Music Awards this weekend – seven of which were for her hit song Bad Romance!
The single took the prizes for best Female Video, Pop Video, Dance Music Video, Choreography, Direction, Editing – and Video of the Year, while the best Collaboration went to Gaga and Beyoncé for Telephone.
There were a few awards left over for other winners though – Eminem, who performed his song Love the Way You Lie onstage with Rihanna – went home with two awards for Not Afraid; best Art Direction went to Florence and the Machine for Dog Days Are Over and Jay-Z and Alicia Keys won the Cinematography award for Empire State of Mind.
Guests were entertained with performances by Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Taylor Swift, who forgave Kanye for famously interrupting her acceptance speech at last year’s awards. This year, she sang to him, 'Thirty-two and still growing up now; who you are is not what you did. You're still an innocent'.
