Danny Boyle's latest drama 127 Hours won critic's unanimous praise when it premiered at last year's film festivals and has James Franco tipped for a Golden Globe, so there's no doubt it should be top of our must-see movie list for 2011.
Based on a true story, the film is an adrenaline-pumped drama in which James plays mountain climber Aron Ralston who fights for survival when he becomes trapped in a remote canyon in Utah.
It's not without its fair share of fun though, as Aron recalls memories from home and of the two lady hikers he met along his travels. It also features Gossip Girl star - and our Parisian style crush - Clemence Poesy.
James recalls: 'It was a very unusual film making experience. We did really long takes, so Danny couldn't tell you what to do, he pointed me in the right direction, but I just had to roll with it.'
