Victoria Beckham on the red carpet

Victoria Beckham will open her first flagship store in London this autumn

Victoria Beckham has confirmed she'll open her debut flagship store on London's Dover Street this year, so we can finally shop the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer's latest collections in one, beautiful space. Hurrah.

While rumours about a debut store have been on the cards for some time, it was only this weekend, as Victoria Beckham begins to promote her new fly-on-the-wall Skype documentary, that we've got the real lowdown on her latest fashion industry move.

She told WWD: 'I think the time is now because I know my customer. It will be the first time that the people will really be able to see the brand through my eyes.

'It's young and cool. There are great galleries in the area. There's Dover Street Market directly opposite of us, which is not a bad thing.'

The new store will span 7,000 square feet over three floors. Yes, THREE floors. And will be located at number 36 on the stylish street. The designer and mum-of-four has also enlisted architect Farshid Moussavi, who worked on the London 2012 Olympic Park, to renovate the building.

Victoria adds: '[Farshid] is a woman who loves fashion as well. She has quite a conceptual eye, which I like. We want to make something different without making it overly complicated. I just want it to feel real for me.

'I'm taking my business very seriously… to take it to the next level, I need a team on the ground living and breathing everything here in America.'

Which means she'll be putting a far heavier focus on her US business, too.

VB's Dover Street store will stock all her lines, including Victoria Beckham, Victoria Victoria Beckham, plus her denim, accessories and optical lines, too.

Exciting. Start saving, ladies…
