Victoria Beckham Shows Us What She's Packing For David's 40th Birthday

Victoria Beckham's taking husband David to Morocco for his 40th birthday, and we can guarantee she's going to look super-stylish...

What does one wear on a glamorous holiday in Marrakesh to celebrate your superstar husband's 40th birthday? Vintage Yves Saint Laurent of course.

At least, that's what Victoria Beckham has decided to pack for her David Beckham's 40th birthday bash to Morocco.

The fashion designer shared a snap of a hot pink and tangerine-coloured YSL number on Twitter, alongside the caption 'What to wear in Marakesh? Vintage Yves Saint Laurent #DB40 x vb'. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on that hashtag over the coming days, and especially on Saturday when David turns 40… something tells us there'll be plently of party selfies being shared on social media.

VB's clearly looking to evoke a 60s Marrakesh vibe with her YSL dress – what with its bright clashing colours and retro pointed collar. In fact, it's not totally dissimilar from some of VB's own designs from her SS13 collection. So now we know where she gets her inspiration from…

It's thought that David, Victoria and their pals (which will no doubt include Dave Gardner and wife Liv Tyler), will be staying at the luxury Amanjena resort just outside of the Moroccan city for the weekend – the same place the couple chose to renew their wedding vows back in 2004.

So what else do we think Victoria will be packing in her suitcase? Something long and flowing for one – it's going to be hot after all. At least a couple of pairs of her signature aviator shades to shield her eyes from the sun (and to help battle the hangover). And we're guessing the mother-of-four will be packing some sandals too – we know she's a love of the skyscraper heel, but she'll find it pretty hard to navigate those Moroccan souks in a pair of stilettos.
