The Closing Ceremony at the London Olympics 2012 brought a spectacular end to the games, featuring a star-studded tribute to the best of British music from the past 50 years with acts including Victoria Beckham and the Spice Girls, George Michael, Annie Lennox, Liam Gallagher, Muse, The Who and One Direction!
After weeks of hype about their performance, the Spice Girls didn’t disappoint with Victoria Beckham joining Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwel, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown on stage to perform hit singles including Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life.
Victoria looked every inch the celebrity fashion icon and designer wearing a stunning strapless dress by British fashion designer Giles Deacon.
Mel B stunned in a gold sequined Zuhair Murad bodysuit, while Emma kept to her Baby Spice roots in a hot pink dress by Maggie Cooke, with Geri Halliwell working a super-short in a red frock by Suzanne Neville and Mel C looking super-svelte in a white jumpsuit and outfit by JD Sports.
George Michael was also among VIP performers, storming the stage singing his hit, Freedom and his new track White Light.
Meanwhile, Jessie J wowed in two jumpsuits by Vivienne Westwood as she hooked up with Tinie Tempah and Taio Cruz, before hitting the stage with Queen’s Brian May to belt out We Will Rock You!
Flying the flag for UK style, Kate Middleton was back to her recycling best, reworking yet another fab dress from high street fashion fave Whistles!
