David and Victoria Beckham donate Dolce and Gabbana outfits to charity
David and Victoria Beckham have teamed up with their local charity shop in Chelsea to help raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
Donating some of the family's finest wares to the British Red Cross, VB has been sifting through their designer wardrobes for a good cause.
David has reportedly donated several Dolce and Gabbana suits to the stylish haul, as well as many of his much-loved baseball hats. Around 100 pairs of VB's coveted heels are also reportedly up for grabs, including some pre-loved Jimmy Choos, along with clothes from Roberto Cavalli.
Posh and Becks' matching Dolce and Gabbana outfits from the 2003 MTV awards are also said to be included, joining the dress the former Spice Girl wore to the Venice Film Festival in 2006.
‘David and I are supporting the Red Cross Shop Drop for the Philippines campaign and we urge everyone in Britain to do the same,' said the British designer.
Adding: ‘Everyone has something in their closet they were holding onto, a dress, suit, or pair of shoes they thought they might wear again, dig them out, bag them up, drop them off and give someone else the chance to buy them, raising much needed funds for the Red Cross aid effort. Thank you.'
David and Victoria’s clothes will go on sale on Friday (22 November) at the British Red Cross shop in Kensington, London.
