Jennifer Lawrence is undoubtedly one of Hollywood's most popular stars, not just because of her Oscar-winning acting abilities, but because of her sense of humour and straight talking attitude when it comes to matters of body image and feminism.
But, sadly, it's because of this popularity and feeling of love that she manages to engender in the public that things can sometimes turn a little bit ugly for J-Law, as they did last night in New York when the Hunger Games star arrived for an appearance on the David Letterman show.
Fans waiting for her arrival reportedly booed the star as she made her way into the TV studios for not stopping to sign autographs.
Being the nice lady she is, Jennifer attempted to make amends for the earlier snub as she left the studios, walking over to her waiting fans to give them the autographs they so desperately wanted.
Unfortunately, in the excitement, the barricade was pushed down and Jennifer was mobbed by the members of the public. Clearly shaken from the ordeal, the actress was escorted to her car and driven away.
Sure, we're all for showing some love, but we reckon this went just a little to far guys...
