Complete with tears, tantrums, new talent and the wrath of guest judge Mel B, The X Factor made a spectacular return on Saturday night.
The auditions kicked off in London with the full line-up of judges and some fabulous panel outfits from Tulisa and Nicole.
The stylish Jahmene Douglas earned himself an early place as one-to-watch following a soulful performance of Etta James' At Last.
As the auditions moved North, Mel B stepped in for an absent Nicole and proved tricky to please. While she was the only judge not to put through crooner Curtis Golden, she was won over by 16-year-old singer-songwriter, Ella Henderson. The teenager also struck a chord with Tulisa, who went backstage to congratulate her on her performance, calling her "a star" and proclaiming she'd "love to mentor her".
More than a few lookalikes made their way onto the stage, but it was Pink tribute act, Zoe Alexander, that proved the biggest scene-stealer. After failing to make the next round she threw her microphone at the judges and had to be helped off the stage by her father.
There's certainly no shortage of drama so far! We've got our eyes peeled for more early favourites and fabulous fashion from Tulisa and Nicole.
