1. Trending: Sugary summer brights
We all know brights are a fail-safe look for summer, but the Teen Choice Awards 2013 were all about super-sweet pastels and cheerful rainbow hues - and none embraced the trend more so than Kerry Washington in a bedazzling, glitz-adorned Stella McCartney Resort 2014 pink shift dress. Kerry played up the feminine feel with bright red lips and tumbling waves, plus some sky-high Christian Louboutin heels.
2. Trending: Daring leather looks
At the other end of the spectrum, celebs such as Miley Cyrus, Naya Rivera and Demi Lovato were seen opting for tough-luxe leather looks - from crop tops to androgynous tuxedo jackets, there's nothing sweet about these punky ensembles.

5. Lea Michele and the Glee cast's emotional tribute
It was an emotional moment for Lea Michele and the rest of the Glee cast, who stepped up on stage to accept an award for best TV Show Comedy, while Lea also walked away with choice TV Comedy Actress. Speaking to the crowd, Lea spoke from the heart with her dedication to Cory Monteith, saying "Although we lost someone that we really love, that you guys love too, we are very fortunate to come back [for the next season]… So on behalf of our brother and our classmate, we accept this award." Looking pretty in pink in Oscar de la Renta, Lea took a sweet group hug on stage with the Glee cast.
6. Lily Collins' latest fashion win
Lily Collins seriously impressed after stepping out in yet another gorgeous look - having recently been putting on a super stylish fashion parade for the current promotion of film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Pairing together striking separates, Lily wore a dip-hem Fausto Puglisi skirt in a palm tree print with a pale pink lining, teamed with a black, puff sleeved Houghton shirt and Brian Atwood shoes. Working a sixties-esque beauty look, Lily's hair was extra voluminous in a backcombed beehive, plus feline flicks on her eyes for a simple yet dramatic look. We're loving this emerging style icon…
7. Ashton Kutcher's Teen Choice Awards legacy
Taking home his amazing 16th surfboard award for Ultimate Choice, comedy heartthrob Ashton Kutcher looked cool-casual in a baseball cap and chequered shirt.
