The UK's most famous music festival, Glastonbury, was a true celebrity affair, with stars including Pixie Geldof, Lady Ga-Ga, Nicola Roberts and Prince Williams in the VIP areas showing off their fabulous festival style (that meant 10-cm heels for Ga-Ga!).
Billed by festival founder Michael Eavis as "the best one ever" thanks to the warm, sunny weather and stellar line-up, Glastonbury 2009 featured stellar line-ups including a performance by Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen and Blur's first reunion gig since 1998, which closed the show in spectacular fashion. The Brit pop band received numerous encore requests following their hits "Girls and Boys" and "The Universal" and were even joined on stage by Phil Daniels for a rousing rendition of "Parklife".
Several stars honoured the late Michael Jackson, who passed away last Thursday, with tribute songs and Lily Allen even wore a version of the pop super-star's trademark white glove for her performance.
