Actors Michael Caine and Tom Hollander and pop supremo Robbie Williams have all stopped by Japanese-Brazilian fusion restaurant Sushinho, whose amazing cocktail menu features low-calorie drinks – now InStyle has visited too!
You know the saying:'Martinis are like breasts: one is one too few; three is one too many?' At 200 calories a pop, we’d usually agree. Not so with Sushinho's Cherry Tea Martini, left (green tea, cherry vodka and Campari, £8.50), which is a mere 94 calories!
Also on the menu are the Cucumber Sour, below left (cucumber, Hendricks Gin, Midori, £8.50, 146 calories); the Coco Libre (cococnut rum, diet coke and cranberry, £7.50, 77 calories); and the Skinnyberry (rye whiskey, cranberry, lime, raspberries, £8.50, 86 calories).
Can’t afford a sunshine vay-cay? Our glamorous companion tried the Sangria Sparkler, £8, and exclaimed, 'It tastes just like a holiday!' The mix of red wine, brandy, orange liqueur and soda is just 90 calories.
All of which means you can have a swanky evening of cocktails, soak it up with a delicious sushi platter (from £14) and still fit into that Hervé Léger bandage dress. Result!
