The Oscar 2015 nominations were just announced moments ago and while we can't say we're surprised at many of the actors, actress and, of course, films that have been nominated for an iconic golden statue, there is one star who has missed out on earning her first-ever Oscar…

After the massive hype surrounding her latest role as a chronic-pain sufferer in the indie film Cake, we were all willing to hedge our bets on the fact that Jennifer Aniston would find herself in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category. Sadly, however, it looks like it just wasn't meant to be for Jen this year.

However, there are lots of other nominations that we're pretty pleased about including Felicity Jones' nomination for Best Actress and Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch's respective nominations for Best Actor. Not forgetting Keira's Oscar nod in the Best Supporting Actress category.
