Kendall and Kylie Jenner are making BIG steps with their very own clothing collection, as these Instagram posts prove
Kendall Jenner and her younger sister Kylie have sent their fans into overdrive after posting a series of teasy Instagarm posts which clearly showcase the designers for their first ever fashion range. And by the looks of the sketches it's going to be ridiculously cool. Let us tell you the story of Kendall + Kylie, the clothing line from the start...
It all began at the beginning of the year when the news broke that the pair were in talks about collaborating with high street fashion fav Topshop, only for the brand to confirm the news a few days later — but the details were slightly skewed.
The truth behind the rumour was that the girls we're creating their own 'young contemporary collection... [and] it will be stocked exclusively at selected Topshop stores globally and online.' So rather than putting their famous name to the Topshop brand, the one stop fashion shop is simply on-board as their first stockist. Pretty exciting stuff for the teens, then.
However, that news came and went at the start of February and, tbh, we kind of forgot all about the Kendall + Kylie collection. That was until Kylie caused a stir on social media.
The 17-year-old starlet took to her personal account to share a selfie of her rocking an army green jumpsuit, which she captioned: 'go ahead and follow @kendallandkylie for some sneak peaks'. Intrigued? Us too, so what did we do? We followed the link of the brand new Instagarm account, and this is what we found...
The first post — captioned 'Dreams in progress...' — shows sketched versions of Kendall (left) and Kylie (right) rocking some badass, lace-up and underboob-flashing crop tops. It's not clear which or if either of the famous sisters actually did these drawings but whoever worked them up has some mad sketching skills.
If that wasn't enough to get their fans into a tizzy, their next post ought to have done it.
The shot shows Kendall and Kylie sitting on a sofa sipping herbal tea whilst pouring over front and back designs of CAD illustrated clothes — that's the final stage in the design process before the garments are actually made, just FYI — alongside which she wrote: 'Designs on the mind. #decisionsdecisions.'
Very interesting indeed!
So yep, their clothing collection looks like it's getting off to a pretty amazing start then. Previously the girls' have tweeted that they've got something super exciting to share with us THIS SUMMER, so we may not have too long to wait to see the fruits of their fashion design labour.
Better get working on those abs and pins, because we're predicting it'll be short hemline and crop top central...
