The Dorchester plants first of 80 trees to celebrate their 80th anniversary

Jo Wood lent a hand to plant the first of the Dorchester’s 80th anniversary trees in London

Leading London hotel, The Dorchester, has always been a favourite place to stay for stars of fashion, film and music alike, and now the A-listers are giving something back with the likes of Lily Cole and designers Roland Mouret and Anya Hindmarch helping the hotel celebrate their 80th anniversary by planting trees across London.

LATEST CELEBRITY PICS

Inspired by the listed Plane Tree that stands at the entrance to the hotel, and coordinated by the urban tree-planting charity, Trees for Cities, The Dorchester plans to plant 80 trees across London, including 15 in Mayfair and St James’s that will form The Dorchester Anniversary Walk, in time for the Olympics next year.

INSTYLE'S XMAS WISHLIST

With no time like the present, Jo Wood was the first to get her hands dirty for the cause, planting the first tree on Curzon Street.
