Jennifer Lawrence poses on the red carpet

Jennifer Lawrence is among the nominees at the 2014 BAFTAs

The 2014 BAFTA nominations have just been announced and they're set to make awards season even more exciting.

Actors Helen McCrory and Luke Evans joined BAFTA Chairman John Willis at London's Royal Opera House this morning to unveil the full list of hopefuls.

Much like the Golden Globes, Jennifer Lawrence and Cate Blanchett are leading the way for the ladies, while Leonardo DiCaprio could finally bag a gong for his lead role in The Wolf of Wall Street. Sandra Bullock's Gravity recieved the most nominations overall, while Idris Elba is a notable absence from the leading actors shortlisted for a prestigious gong.
