Ten things to look forward to at V Festival 2013

From Beyoncé’s on-stage comeback to fashion freebies, we’ve rounded up the top ten things we can’t wait to see, do and hear at V Festival 2013…

  1. Beyoncé

Surely the biggest name to ever appear at V Festival, Beyoncé will be returning to the stage after a summer break from her Mrs Carter Show tour. The star will headline at Chelmsford, Essex on 17 August and at Weston Park on 18 August,  and we’re sure she’ll be back with a bang.

  1. Very does V

As well as launching a fashion capsule collection created especially for the festival, fashion brand Very.co.uk will be delivering direct to your tent door for any last minute style emergencies at this year’s festival. They’ll also be offering  festival goers the chance to choose their favourite trends through a festival trending vending machine, plus freebies and more.

  1. The MAC tent

Fancy a mid-field mini makeover? Following on from last year’s success, MAC are once again offering their pop up make-up tent loved by celebs and festival fans alike. A definite festival stop off.

  1. Mollie King’s on-stage style

InStyle blogger Mollie King will be joining her Saturdays bandmates for an on-stage style spectacular. We can’t wait to see what glitz and glam she’ll bring to the line up!

  1. The Louder Lounge

The luxury lounge will host the likes of Beyoncé, One Direction and The Saturdays, who will chill in style to the sounds of Pioneer’s DJs, while enjoying cupcakes, street food vendors and cocktails a-plenty.

  1. Festival fashion

Whether on or off stage, V Festival will offer one of this year’s last chances to work your fave festival fashion. From wellies to denim shorts, crop tops to tassels, get your festi-fash look out in full force.

  1. Celeb spotting

With The Saturdays and Kings of Leon scheduled to hit the stage, there’ll be plenty of celebs to look out for. And as well as the performers, no doubt frequent celeb festival goers will be there in full force – look out for the likes of Mille Mackintosh and Poppy Delevingne.

  1. Kings of Leon’s big return

After a two-year tour hiatus, Kings of Leon have officially returned this year! We can’t wait to hear their sultry sounds at this year’s V Festival.

  1. Foodie heaven

From ostrich burgers to froyo, V Festival is known for it’s food village, and foodies won’t be disappointed this year.

  1.  Hairstyle how-tos

Festivals are the perfect opportunities to showcase a new ‘do, particularly an updo. From halo braids to high ponys to embellishments, anything goes. Don’t miss our round-up of this year’s hottest hairstyles to make sure your weekend look is perfectly on trend.
