Lisa Kudrow joined Taylor Swift on stage at her 1989 tour to sing Smelly Cat

All together now, "Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you..."

It's the Friends cameo we never thought we’d see, but the latest addition to Taylor’s girl gang comes straight from Central Perk. Lisa Kudrow joined Taylor on stage last night at LA’s Staples Centre to belt out Phoebe Buffay’s one hit wonder, Smelly Cat. Yep, we’re seriously not lying. Check out the clip above.

Taylor warned her audience that Lisa had never played such a huge venue before and might need some encouragement, before she was joined by Princess Consuela Banana Hammock. Let us also just remind you that Smelly Cat first debuted 20 years ago on The One With The Baby On The Bus when Taylor was just five years old. Now we feel old…

Lisa joins a long list of musical cameos on Taylor’s 1989 world tour, including Little Mix, John Legend, Ellen DeGeneres, St Vincent, Mary J Blige, Fetty Wap and Lorde, to name a few. Even Selena Gomez duetted with Swifty in co-ordinated outfits, proving there’s no bad blood (sorry not sorry…) between the pair. Whether she’s out for dinner with boyfriend Calvin Harris, snapping selfies with BFFs Gigi and Cara on Instagram or pulling in video favours from the likes of Ellie Goulding and Victoria’s Secret supermodel Lily Aldridge, Taylor’s famous friendship group is looking better than ever. Can we join, please?

This career resurgence comes at a pretty good time for Lisa Kudrow too, who is surely gearing up for East London’s Friends festival set to take place from 16th - 20th September. The first batch of tickets unsurprisingly sold out in minutes, but a second lot will be released later today. Here’s everything you need to know about the Friends festival, including how to get tickets.

Taylor, we are loving the latest addition to your tour tribe. All together now – "smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you…."
