Tanya Burr and her long time boyfriend Jim Chapman have tied the knot after getting engaged three years ago. However, after seeing the first stunning images from their big day, the wait has totally been worth it.
The Youtube sensation and our Project 13 nominee was proposed to by her man while the pair were on a romantic trip to New York City in December of 2012, and, on Thursday the 3rd of September 2015, they finally said ‘I do’ in front of close family and friends at the super fancy Babington House (AKA, the celeb wedding venue of choice). Unsurprisingly, every aspect of their nuptials was basically an Instagram dream…
In attendance were fellow Youtubers and blogging sensations Zoe Sugg, her beau Alfie Deyes, Zoe's brother Joe Suggs and beauty vlogger Niomi Smart. Quite the superstar get-together, huh?
And while the couple managed to keep their wedding date hush-hush until the last second, here’s what we DO know about their big day…
The Gorgeous Dress
Tanya showed off her curves in a stunning white lace dress, complete with a scallop neckline, fitted bodice and a full, a-line skirt. Finishing off her glorious bridal look with a sheer mesh veil, which effortlessly mirrored the pooling train of her dress, she was, quite simply, a vision.
The Ravishing Bridal Beauty Look
It goes without saying that Tanya knows a thing or two about looking her best, and her wedding day was certainly no exception. She wore her hair down, tousled, with the front sections pulled away from her face to show off her natural beauty look. Her make-up consisted of a subtly smoky eye, a blush-hued lip and a flawless, peachy base.
The Romantic Venue
Babington House is a picturesque manor in the countryside of Somerset, and has hosted the weddings of Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green, as well as Hollywood heavyweight Eddie Redmayne and his wife, Hannah Bagshaw. The lush grounds and the traditional house make it the ideal backdrop for the most romantic of weddings.
The Dreamlike Ceremony
Tanya and Jim lucked out when it came to the weather on their big day, and they were able to go ahead with their intimate outdoor ceremony as planned. Guests sat in whitewash wooden chairs as the happy couple exchanged their vows under an archway adorned with white roses and green flora.
The Super-Cute Favours
Guests were treated to a personalised, wedding cake-shaped biscuit, iced with Tanya and Jim’s names and their wedding date. Such a pretty touch…
The Three-Tier Cake
Keeping up with their rustic theme, Tanya and Jim’s cake consisted of a three-tier Victoria sponge cake dusted with sugar and finished with lashings of fresh berries and white flowers for decoration.
The Next Day…
The couple continued their celebrations the following day as they invited their guests to partake in an array of fun activities including a sack race, which they followed with a tasty BBQ. Yep, these newlyweds just keep on givin’.
Congratulations, you two!
