TRAILBLAZER: Remember the days when nobody knew what a blog was? Susie started up her influential fashion blog up way back in 2006, a good four years before vlogging became the hottest new media sensation. Susie was the most colourful character on the block and kick started the trend for Instagram-ready fashion, but Susie’s no street style peacock. Style Bubble offers intelligent and captivating commentary on fashion in the 21st century. No wonder she’s one of the most important fashion journalists of her generation.
IN A BUBBLE: Rather than fashion or journalism, Susie studied History at University College London. After graduating, she started up Style Bubble on the side of her full time magazine job, before quitting to focus on blogging full time. Her colourful outfit choices dominate street style websites worldwide, but it’s her way with words that really sets Susie apart.
THE IN CROWD: Susie might have gained recognition on the internet, but she’s established herself as a hugely respected journalist for various online and print magazines, and has even presented a show for the BBC. Her rise to fashion fame has seen her become close friends with designers such as Antony Vacarello for Versace, Hannah Weiland from Shrimps and Christopher Kane – not bad at all.
