Stella McCartney Rounds Up The Hollywood A-List For The Most Epic Party In Town

Everyone who's anyone was at the designer's Autumn 2014 Presentation in New York...

Stella McCartney may have just bagged the title of 'coolest party host ever' following her autumn 2014 presentation party in New York.
Giving the A-list a preview of her 'uptown' collection by throwing a bash with serious edge, the British designer's shown us all just how to throw a soirée with style.
First, invite incredibly famous Hollywood stars - Alec Baldwin, Liv Tyler and Susan Sarandon to name a few. Second, surround yourself with the hottest models of the moment. Third, hire mini Range Rovers for your uber-flash guestlist to play around in (and we haven't even mentioned the hopscotch yet...)
Sound like something you wish you were at? Yep, us too.

Stella McCartney knows how to throw a party, but her autumn 2014 presentation in New York saw her rounding up the most epic group of famous faces we've ever seen at a fash-bash. Ever.

Earning her the title of 'coolest party host in fashion', the British designer invited a whole flock of A-list names to her stylish soirée at Park Avenue mansion - from Hollywood stars Alec Baldwin, Liv Tyler, Blythe Danner and Susan Sarandon, to legendary musician Patti Smith.

Featuring pastel candy trays, cakes that looked like current season handbags and a gaggle of top models driving power wheels, the scene was sweet and whimsical with a seriously starry edge.

Also among the throng of McCartney fans in town for a preview of her 'uptown' collection was actress Maggie Gylenhaal, author Zadie Smith, supermodel Helena Christensen and fashion favourite Julia Restoin-Roitfeld.

Belgian model-of-the-moment Hanne Gaby Odiele ramped up the fun factor by hopping behind the wheel of a mini motor, while New York socialite Kimberly Chandler got involved with a spot of giant hopscotch. Amazing.

Next time Stella's in town, we're nabbing a spot on that invite list.
