Stars take afternoon tea for charity.
Amnesty International

Bianca Jagger, Bella Freud and Jefferson Hack were just a few of fashion’s elite who attended the AMNESTEA tea party for Amnesty International

This week the Brit culture pack, including writers, artists and musicians, met at the Langham Hotel for afternoon tea. The gathering included Bianca Jagger, William Orbit and Bella Freud amongst a host of other celebs and fashion insiders.  It's not so unusual for society’s highfliers to spend time in swanky London locations but this rendez-vous was for very a good cause.

The Amnestea initiative marks the charity’s 49th birthday which is on the 29 May this year and is a rather fabulous way of raising money for the very worthy human rights organisation.

Amnestea however is for everyone. The charity encourages people everywhere to organise their own tea parties (a great excuse to eat cake in our book) and in the process, raise cash for the cause.

And we LOVE British fashion house Temperley’s candle for Amnesty in a chic neon pink. At £35, for once you can have style and substance
