The stylish stars of hit AMC retro drama, Mad Men, left their cigar-smoking ways behind for a night as they gathered together for a glamorous BAFTA panel and reception in New York.
January Jones broke out of her demure Betty Draper wardrobe with a tough Versace leather biker jacket, mixed up with a colourful Parker skirt and Miu Miu pumps. We can’t help but love seeing a more modern and carefree style on Miss Jones, whose choppy blonde bob is a mile away from her character’s set-in-rollers do.
Christina Hendricks, known for her part as secretary-come-Executive-Partner Joan Holloway, wore a black long sleeve shift dress with sheer paneling. With her trademark fiery red hair cut into a tousled bob, she teamed it with scarlet lips, proving once again that redheads can rock red lipstick.
Also spotted looking super stylish were Jessica Pare, in a calf-length bodycon turquoise dress with embellished details, and up and coming Kiernan Shipka, who, at the young age of 13, has us jealous with her already perfectly-honed red carpet style. Jon Hamm looked his usual dapper self in a slick navy suit.
We can’t wait to see what vintage-inspired outfits will be paraded in the new episode airing on 24 April 2013 on Sky Atlantic.
