Cheryl, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday, received the regal gift of one square foot of Scottish land plus the accompanying ladyship title.
The land, which is located in the Bandrum estate near Fife, Scotland, cost Cowell just £19.95 and entitles the owner to become an official Lord or Lady lasting up to 175 years - meaning Cheryl will now be known as 'Lady Cheryl Cole' for a very long time.
Tweeting a picture of the deed that Simon had gifted Cheryl joked, "I will now be referred to as Lady Cheryl Cole when you address me both in person & through the media."
And Simon Cowell wanted to make it very clear that there were no hard feelings meant when he didn't show up to Cheryl's extravagent Las Vegas birthday party - tweeting, "I just couldn't go because of my filming dates. We are close friends again and I adore her."
