Let’s face it. If there’s one man who can get the music industry to rally around it is Simon Cowell.
So it’s no wonder that Prime Minister Gordon Brown came to him about a British fund-raising effort for the earthquake-ravaged Haiti, as Cowell himself revealed at the National Television Awards last night.

He said ‘I’ve got to try and get it all together in about 48 hours. (It will include) as many people as possible, whoever we’ve got available is going to be on the record.’
There’s talk of mega stars Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Robbie Williams and Wyclef Jean being on the track as well as Cowell discoveries Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle, as reported in The Sun.
The Daily Mail reports that Cheryl Cole has already said she wants to be involved, ‘I think it’s a fantastic thing to do, I’d love to be involved in it.’
That’s a lot of talent in one room for a great cause and it's all down to one man…good on you, Simon.
