Just three months after Kate Middleton married Prince William at Westminster Cathedral, the Queen’s eldest grandchild, Zara Phillips, married rugby captain Mike Tindall with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Prince Harry and stars of the sporting world all their to celebrate.
Wearing a beautiful bodiced wedding dress with a full skirt and tulle capped sleeves by royal favourite Stewart Parvin, Zara Phillips made the perfect bride with her mother’s diamond tiara nestling in her blonde chignon.
And it was a wedding with plenty of wardrobe success stories with Kate Middleton reworking an ivory brocade dress coat by Jane Troughton, which she’d worn to see Laura Parker Bowles marry Harry Lopes in 2006, and the Duchess of Cornwall standing pretty in pleats wearing occasion favourite, Anna Valentine, teamed with a fab floral headpiece.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie seem to have taken note of Kate’s favourite accessory with both princesses opting for nude pumps to accompany their wedding guest ensembles. While Beatrice went bright in tailored turquoise by Angela Kelly, Eugenie chose a more muted cream and chocolate two-piece by the same designer as her sibling.
London tailors Cad and the Dandy made sure the groom was suited and booted and Prince William and Prince Harry were dashing as ever in their morning suits.
