Colin Firth signed autographs for fans at the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy première, which was held at the British Film Institute on London’s Southbank last night. But all eyes were on Colin’s gorgeous wife, film producer Livia Giuggioli who was super chic in that black, figure-hugging Stella McCartney dress, as worn previously by Kate Winslet and Liv Tyler.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is set in 70s London and tells the story of a mission to track down a Soviet double agent who has managed to get to the top of the British Secret Service. It promises to be one of the most exciting films of the season, directed by Let Me In director Tomas Alfredson, with a cast including Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, John Hurt and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Gary Oldman revealed that his role as spy George Smiley would be the “perfect casting” for winning his first Oscar, but as for the excitement surrounding his role, he added modestly: “I don't follow it, but it's nice if people are saying it, it's better than them not saying it”.
Co-star Colin seemed to agree with the buzz around Gary’s performance: “I think it's been a long time coming, I think he's among the best that's ever been”.
Fingers crossed, as we think an Oscar for Gary is well overdue…
