Music pioneers gathered together at London’s May Fair Hotel last night to celebrate their successes and check out their rival competition for the prestigious MOBO awards.
Alexandra Burke caught our style radar as she glowed in a simplistic military style dress. She let the dress and the killer legs do the talking with no accessories, just glamorous hair and super high heels.
The award for the most pleased man of the night went to Tinie Tempah after he scooped 4 nominations for best newcomer, best UK act, best song and best video. Wearing his trademark dark-rimmed oversized glasses and a shiny black blazer he looked laid back and oh-so-cool.
Other celebrities to attend the launch party included Sinitta, Chipmunk, newcomer Preeya Kalidas and N-Dubz singer Tulisa.
“I am very proud of the level of talent in the UK today,” said Awards founder Kanya King.
The MOBO awards celebrates its 15th anniversary this year and will be held at Liverpool Echo Arena on October 20.
