Lily Allen and her showbiz friends celebrated the launch of Lucy in Disguise with a pre-LFW party last night and InStyle went along to have a sneaky peek.

Situated on King Street in Covent Garden, Lucy in Disguise is the brainchild idea of Lily Allen and her stepsister Sarah Owen and they have thought of everything a shopper could possibly want! Inside there is an exciting vintage explosion full of outfits from designers like YSL, Chanel, Lanvin and Ossie Clark. The shop has two floors, a bar, a PlayStation games area and even a hair and make-up area!

Daisy Lowe and Jaime Winstone were among the celebrities to come and support their pal Lily. They all looked amazing in vintage, of course, Lily in a 1930s dress, Daisy in a black lace overcoat and Jaime in a purple satin jumpsuit. The rest of the guests partied the night away sipping their Grey Goose cocktails and nibbling on canapés.

Nestled on a street a stones throw from Covent Garden is the perfect central location! The clothes, from every decade are gorgeous on the eye and the store is stocked to the rafters. AND for all the bored boyfriends, there’s the boy’s waiting area - the perfect space to leave the fella while you peruse your vintage finds - he’ll be happy with the PlayStation Move game!

The fun and games aren’t just for the men though, downstairs there is a girls prepping area which has a PlayStation TV Superstars Frock Stars game where you can dress and model various clothing! Oh, and just so you know Lily and Sarah have both created their own characters which you can play!

You can also go along with friends and head to the Grey Goose Bar downstairs, and try one of the amazing cocktails! As well as this there are make-up artists on hand and a blow-dry bar, we guarantee you’ll look better leaving the shop than you did going in.

The shop, as described on their website is ‘the modern girl’s way to do vintage’, so forget rummaging around charity shops, jumble sales and car boots this is the new way to shop, and have fun doing it!
