Leigh Lezark has been a girl crush of ours for quite some time. Best known as one third of New York City based DJ trio, The Misshapes and a regular sight during Fashion Week, Leigh Lezark now models for DKNY.
Leigh’s unique style has grabbed the attention of DKNY who have chosen her to be in their new advertising campaign. Designer Donna Karen took inspiration from real New York City street style by dressing the models in layers of army green and grey, with bare legs and laid back beauty.
Whilst this advertisement is a huge deal for Leigh Lezark, she’s definitely no stranger to the fashion world. Her signature black razor-cut bob and her unique sense of style led to Matthew Williamson calling her his new muse.
Leigh has featured on lots of magazine covers, she’s walked the runway for Henry Holland during London Fashion Week and she’s appeared in advertising campaigns for Gap and H&M.
The Misshapes have produced compilations and runway music for Chanel, Calvin Klein, House of Holland, and Gwen Stefani’s label, L.A.M.B and they were also photographed by Helena Christensen in ads for the ONE Campaign, which works to end world poverty and fight global AIDS.
Currently based in NYC, Leigh and The Misshapes continue to DJ around the world.
