The snowy weather could not have been more fitting for the premiere of latest Christmas blockbuster Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader last night, with stars Georgie Henley, Anna Popplewell and Laura Brent all braving the blizzard for the Royal premiere.
Last night Leicester Square was transformed into a winter-wonderland where a host of stars glittered on the red carpet and refused to give in to the sub-zero temperatures.
The leading ladies Georgie Henley, Anna Popplewell and Laura Brent stayed away from keeping cosy, opting for bare skin and debonair dresses as they posed to promote the release of the third Chronicles of Narnia installment - a franchise following the Harry Potter success, set to transform its modest and youthful cast into international stars.
Georgie (already tipped as the ‘new Emma Watson’) looked magical in a brown lace Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti floor-length dress, while co-star Anna was alluring in a strapless satin number from Lee Klabin. However it was Australian beauty Laura Brent, who undoubtedly stole the show, looking utterly ethereal in a floor length teal gown with lace detail.
The girls were rivaled on the red carpet by X Factor favorite Rebecca Ferguson, who looked first class and queenly in an egg-shell satin dress with beaded detail on the cuffs and collar. Matt Cardle, One Direction and last year’s X Factor winner Joe McElderry also attended the bash.
Not letting a bit of snow get in her way, The Queen was there to meet and greet the young stars, while our very own Prince Charming Ben Barnes, looked dashing in a classic black tux. It was a fairytale night from start to finish!
