The Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has posted pictures of her new place on her website, Goop and tells us where she bought furniture and how much it cost!
Gwyneth tells how 'with a very limited independent film scale budget' interior designer Annette Joseph renovated an empty and dilapidated two bedroom loft in downtown Nashville into a 'cosy, light filled place that was just perfect for my family’s stay there'.
The apartment in the trendy up-and-coming area of the city was tailor-made to Gwyneth's specifications and much like herself exudes her wholesome and simple style.
The interior designer working with Gwyneth on the project said: 'She knew the colour palette and the style she wanted, modern yet comfortable, no autumnal colour ways, and no sharp edges for safety of the children.'
We LOVE the results. Who wouldn’t die for a $1200 free standing bath tub that big, the floor to ceiling windows or the gorge $875 white shaggy rug? And, as a notoriously keen cook, it's no surprise that the stainless steel kitchen is one of the stand-out rooms of the house. The stylish lights were a flea market find at $400, the chic stools cost $99 each, the kitchen island was a cool $500, and the three-tier fruit bowl is a mere snip at $150.
