Beyoncé’s new video for her song Why Don’t You Love Me – co-written by kid sister Solange Knowles – has a gorgeous vintage 50s vibe.
The pop video opens on the usually glitzy Beyoncé playing BB Homemaker, styled in denim hot pants, a tied-at-the-waist plaid shirt, her hair up in a headscarf, covered in oil smudges, as she tries to fix her 50s convertible.
(A close-up reveals the star is made up to the nines, though, in screen siren red lippy and Amy Winehouse eyeliner.)
Later scenes show our Sasha Fierce in 50s lingerie and Betty Page-style blonde bob in a silent-movie style skit; with her hair in a mega beehive as she sinks martinis and chats on a retro rotary-dial telephone; and in cute dungarees and cats’ eye sunglasses as she waters the garden.
You’ll just have to watch the video to see more lust-have vintage looks!
