Even if you're not a massive fan of glittering awards ceremonies, there's no way you could have missed the buzz surrounding what John Travolta did to Scarlett Johansson on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night.
In case the unthinkable has happened and the news passed you by, here's a quick recap. Scar-Jo was posing up a storm whilst looking incred in her ever-green, form clinging frock when John Travolta snuck up behind her, planted a kiss on her cheeky and wrapped his hands around her waist.
Ever the pro, Scarlett kept her cool and even managed to conjure up a sexy side smile when John's lips met her face — remarkably handled, as we're sure you'll agree.
Once the pics hit the internet of John doing his, er, thing, the question on everyones lips was; 'what the hell was that?', with some saying his hands-on approach with an unbeknown Scarlett was nothing short of inappropriate.

Jumping in to defend the Hollywood icon, Scarlett has now said: 'There is nothing strange, creepy or inappropriate about John Travolta,' and went on to sum him up, plain and simply, as a 'class act.'
Speaking to the Associated Press, Scar continued: 'The image that is circulating is an unfortunate still-frame from a live-action encounter that was very sweet and totally welcome. That still photo does not reflect what preceded and followed if you see the moment live. Yet another way we are misguided, misinformed and sensationalised by the 24-hour news cycle. I haven’t seen John in some years and it is always a pleasure to be greeted by him.'
So, there you have it — straight from Scarlett's mouth — that she was a-ok with the whole thing.
However, we must stress that grabbing Scarlett Johansson, should you ever see her in the flesh, is still probably not a good idea even though she's given John Travolta the get-go...
