Sarah Jessica Parker's Kids Have DEFINITELY Inherited Her Super Stylish Genes...

Why couldn't we have a fashion icon for a mother? (Sorry mum...)

Ok, so we all know that Sarah Jessica Parker is one of the most fashionable woman in the biz. After spending years walking in the sartorially blessed Carrie Bradshaw's Manolo Blahniks in Sex And The City she has homed in on her personal style, making herself stand out in a big way from the rest of the pack.

And it looks like she's trying to do just that for her children to boot...

Instead of laying out their clothes on the end of their beds, Sarah has revealed that she's encouraging her little ones to develop their own unique taste in clothes by letting them style themselves.

Speaking to US publication People, the 49-year-old actress revealed that she gives her brood — made up of her five-year-old twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, and her 12-year-old son James Wilkie — the freedom to dress how they choose. And no, there's not a Batman or Queen Elsa costume in sight...

'They're at an age — and have been for many years — where they really have their own identity,' Sarah shared. 'So, Sunday through Thursday the rule is they can wear whatever they want. And if we go to the theatre or to the ballet, I get a say. But it's really among choices that they approve of.'

To be fair, we doubt they'd have anything but the best clobber in their curated wardrobes to choose from anyway. But still, talk about liberating...

If that wasn't enough of an insight into SJP's perfect home-life, she went on to say that her kids are are 'preternaturally gifted artists', adding they 'probably spend 80% of their free time drawing. Every morning before breakfast we have to drag them away from drawing and painting, even my son. They're far more gifted than I ever was.'

Now Sarah; we don't know about that! Clashing prints like a pro doesn't come easy to us all.

We don't know about you, but we've just found two new style icons! Surely a Tabitha and Marion fashion blog has to follow...
