Sarah Jessica Parker Is About To Make An Epic Return To Our TV's

Sarah Jessica Parker totally won us over on the small screen in Sex And The City. Now, it looks like she's about to return to her television roots in a hot new show... EEP!

Sarah Jessica Parker officially won a place in our hearts as the straight-talking, high fashion and love-searching Carrie Bradshaw in the iconic television series Sex And The City. Now, it looks as if she's ready to go back to her TV roots if this exciting news is anything to go by...

HBO — the US company behind the mega SATC franchise — has hinted that 49-year-old SJP is getting ready to star in a brand new series which follows a 40-something woman in the midst of a divorce (hopefully NOT with Mr Big...) and her relationship with her BFF's. Sound familiar?

According to whispers, the show will centre around a middle-aged woman who has been 'influenced by her two recently single friends and impulsively brings up the idea of divorce with her husband but can't decide whether to actually go through with it — until her husband discovers the affair she's been having and calls the marriage off.'

Say it ain't so, Sare! We're already biting our nails at this saucy storyline...

Not only that but rumour has it that Sarah will also be taking on the role of producer on the series, investing her time, effort and funds into making it a hit with the aid of her own production company, Pretty Matches Productions. In short, she's taking this new venture VERY seriously.

While SJP has still kept up with her acting since SATC wrapped back in 2004 (as if we weren't feeling old enough, huh?!), she's spent most of 2014 travelling the world promoting her new, debut shoe line, SJP Collection; so, needless to say, this news comes as a major plus to her die-hard fans.

We don't know about you but nothing would get our 2015 TV off to a better start than a new SJP sit-com.

Anything we can do to help make it happen?! Just holla', Sarah...
