The Drive actor and heart-throb, Ryan Gosling says he needs to take a break from appearing in films to reassess why he’s doing it.
Speaking to press the actor said: “I've been [acting] too much. I've lost perspective on what I'm doing. I think it's good for me to take a break and reassess why I'm doing it and how I'm doing it. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does."
Whilst we’re not so sure that we do need a break from Ryan, the good news is that he is not completely leaving the movie making business. He is due to direct his first feature film, How to Catch a Monster, which will star Christina Hendricks, Matt Smith and Eva Mendes. Ryan will also appear with Eva Mendes in the soon to be released, The Place Beyond the Pines, alongside fellow heart-throb Bradley Cooper. Phew!
